As experienced experts in managing projects, grants and energy data monitoring, whatever your requirements, Low Carbon Enterprise is the place to start.
Low Carbon Enterprise has a wealth of experience in managing sustainable energy projects on behalf of clients such as Local Authorities, Regional Development Agencies and other large organisations.
Recent projects have included RE:think Energy which we managed on behalf of the Regional Development Agency (Advantage West Midlands) and Shropshire Council; and the SECHURBA project (Sustainable Energy Communities in Historic URBan Areas), a European Project, part-funded by Intelligent Energy Europe.
RE:think Energy is a £1.5 million renewable energy grant scheme aimed at helping SME’s in the rural West Midlands to install renewable energy technologies. Low Carbon Enterprise has successfully managed the two year pilot project, working directly with both grant applicants and project partners, funders and stake holders. Due to the success of the pilot scheme, RE:think Energy is now due to receive a further three years of funding and expand into the wider West Midlands region.
Low Carbon Enterprise is the coordinator for the SECHURBA project which involves 13 organisations spread across 7 European Countries. Historic Buildings were left out of the Energy Performance in Buildings Directive, which aims to reduce carbon emissions linked to buildings in use. The project aims to show, through a series of case study buildings, ways in which such buildings can be made more efficient, and also the possibility of integrating renewable energy technologies, so that they can play a role in carbon reduction, rather than being considered a barrier.
